We are looking for dependable, dedicated people who wish to help out their neighbors by volunteering at our fire department. We will train you on the basics and you will be able to receive advanced training from the fire academy at our expense.
NO PREVIOUS TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED

THERE WILL BE A PLACE FOR YOU ON OUR DEPARTMENT!

Reimbursement checks from county for calls and training meetings attended

REQUIREMENTS
To volunteer you must:


1. Live in our fire district or on the very edge of it. (See map)
 **We will make exceptions on case-by-case basis.

2. Be willing to sacrifice your time and energy to the department.
Must attend meetings (2 times a month), calls (roughly 10-15 per month), and complete duties around the station.

3. Be willing to take required training courses. Most will be taught at local fire departments near us or could be held at our department.

4. Be 16 years of age or older, those under 18 will be Junior Firefighters (Explorers)

5. Have a valid SC Class D Drivers License or CDL's (but a CDL is not a requirement)

6. Have no felonies on record for the past 10 years (per SC Law).
